The Singh Twins are among the most popular artists of Indian origin working in Great Britain. Re-vitalising the miniature and exploring the decorative through their paintings, the sisters have adopted the language of Indian and Persian miniature painting to depict the complex issues of our contemporary world. Daughters of a Sikh doctor who immigrated to North England from Punjab, the London-born artists Amrit and Rabindra Singh are identical twins: they look and sound exactly alike and love dressing in the same clothing.
