Sri Guru Granth Sahib is the Holy Sikh Scripture in praise of the Lord contains hymns written by six Sikh Gurus and seventeen other Hindu and Muslim like minded Saints of India. It's hymns have boundless spiritual depth, literary perfection, and sublime meter.

Compiled in 38 ragas, it is highly musical for "The octave knows no color or bar and touches every seeking heart". It is now the eternal teacher alias guru to the Sikhs.
