At Manga village, around 35 kilometers from Lahore, the gated compound of the Department of Fisheries operates on the premises of the erstwhile Chota Nanakiana Gurdwara. The Sikh community built this gurdwara in the memory of Guru Nanak, who stayed at this village, during his journey to South Punjab.

The gurdwara once had 135 ghumaon of land endowed to it. After partition, a large portion of it was allocated to late Justice Maulvi Mushtaq to build the Aligarh Public School. The remaining portion was allocated to the Department of Fisheries, who converted the sarovar into a fish-breeding pond.

The gurdwara building is now in a deplorable condition. It is documented that after the partition in 1947, while the gurdwara was being used as a camp to host the refugees, it was severely damaged due to a fire.
