At 1.5 kilometers from the Radcliffe line that defines the India-Pakistan border, lies the abandoned and dilapidated Rori Sahib Gurdwara. It was built by Bhai Wadhawa Singh in memory of Guru Nanak who would break his journey here while visiting Dera Chahal, his maternal village.

A pond that once existed adjacent to the gurdwara was converted into a sarovar by Bhai Naria, a follower of Guru Nanak. Bhai Naria shared Guru Nanak's philosophy with the Bhabra community who were goldsmiths of Jain faith hailing from Bhabra, a town a few miles north-west of Kot Momin near the river Chenab.

Resonating with the philosophy, many became followers of Guru Nanak. The Rori Sahib Gurdwara was once a well-frequented shrine with an endowment of over 100 bigha of land. Large community fairs were held here twice a year, on Vaisakhi and Jaith.
