The 2010 Sikhpoint Calendar is the CRCI year: the Cultural Resource Conservation Initiative, set up in 1995 by Delhi conservation architect Gurmeet S. Rai. CRCI treats heritage as a way into development, not a side project. A UNESCO-UNDP project in Kishankot and Sri Hargobindpur won UNESCO's Asia-Pacific Heritage Award.

CRCI later prepared the Management Plan for Red Fort, declared a World Heritage Site afterwards, and worked on Punjab heritage tourism and Amritsar as a mega tourism destination. Historian Geoffrey C. Ward wrote that the team deserves support from anyone who believes Sikh architectural heritage must be kept for the next generation.

Months include Raja Hamir Singh's samadhi in Nabha, Duladhi Gate, Guru Ki Maseet in Sri Hargobindpur (a mosque built by Guru Hargobind, cared for by Nihang Singhs), Rambagh Garden and Gate, Gobindgarh Fort, and the Ramgarhia Bunga at Sri Harimandir Sahib.
